Theresa Venable gave a tour of the Children’s Defense Fund Haley Farm’s Langston Hughes Library and its specialized collection of works by African-American writers and illustrators. She also talked about the building, a cantilever barn on the farm of author Alex Haley which was restored and recreated as a library by architect Maya Lin.
